(B139) Podcasts: Alternative Submission for the Student Who Hates Writing

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.

How often have you heard your students say, "But I HATE writing"? It is always so disheartening to see students who are so capable and brilliant shy away from extended written responses because they are intimidated by writing. Podcasting is a fantastic alternative. It allows students a way to respond formally and informally, and in conjunction with the Class Link app WeVideo, students can have fun and be creative with editing. Additionally, podcasting provides many opportunities for authentic products to accompany PBLs and is easy to share with others. The opportunities are endless! [Please note that this session is also repeated at 10:15]
